My  name  is  William  G.  Meemken ,  and 

                                          I  am  a  Photographic Artist  by  trade.  I  live  and  work

                    in  the  Beautiful  State  of  Minnesota ,  where  I  have  been  a  lifetime  resident .

                   I  hold  a  Bachelor  of  Fine  Arts  Degree  in  Photgraphy  from  St.  Cloud  State 

                  University ,  in  the  Central  Minnesota  town  of  St.  Cloud .  I  reside  in  the

                  town  of  Sartell ,  just  north  of  St.  Cloud . 

                       As  an  Artist ,  I  am  somewhat  of  a  rare  bird  in  that  I  am  a  Legally

                  Blind  Photographer .  I  lost  a  significant  portion  of  my  vision  to  a  condition

                  of  the  eyes  called  Diabetic  Retinopathy ,  which  robs  me  of  most  of  my

                  visual  accuity  and  depth-of-field .  I  have  adjusted  to  this  loss  with  the

                 use  of  a  Professional-Grade  Digital  Camera  ( a  Canon  D60 ) ,  and  a  lens

                 with  image - stabilizing  and  auto - focus  features .  This  camera ,  along  with

                 some  very  useful  Photoshop  software ,  allow  me  to  continue  producing  the

                 Artwork  which  I  Love  so  dearly .
